Description
These real rocks and minerals paired with cards bring hands-on exploration into the language area. Finding large, varied rocks and minerals that are appropriate for young children can be surprisingly difficult, I’ve done the work for you.
Each real rock is paired with a card to help build vocabulary and deepen connection through real experiences. The rocks are all roughly 2′ 3″ in size, with different weights, textures, colors, and surfaces to explore, compare, and learn through their hands.
This set includes: Hematite, Jasper, Petrified Wood, Quartz, Amethyst, Orange Calcite, and Rose Quartz.
NOTE: Because these are real rocks, each set will vary slightly in color, shape, and natural characteristics, making every collection unique.
